  • Who is someone God put on your heart recently?

Optional Weekly Challenge Questions

Feel free to use the corresponding challenge questions below or create your own for each week. These weekly challenges should build on each other to create spiritual habits and disciplines, helping group members create healthy rhythms. 
Session 1
Challenge: 
  • Memorize Ephesians 2:8–9 and practice sharing your testimony out loud in under 2 minutes.
Leader Prompts To Discuss Challenge:
  • What stood out to you while writing your testimony?
  • Was there anything about your story that surprised you?
  • Who could benefit from hearing your story?
Session 2
Challenge: 
  • Write down 3–5 people God has placed in your life who may not know Him. Pray for them daily this week.
  • Initiate one intentional spiritual conversation with someone on your list.
Leader Prompts To Discuss Challenge:
  • Who are the people God has placed in your world?
  • Did anyone have an opportunity to show Christ to someone this week?
  • What fears or hesitations came up when thinking about being “sent”?
Session 3
Challenge:
  • Ask God to reveal one area where you struggle to surrender control, and pray about submitting it to Jesus.
  • Abstain from one comfort or habit this week as a tangible act of surrender.
Leader Prompts To Discuss Challenge:
  • What area of life is hardest to surrender to Jesus?
  • What keeps us from living under His Lordship?
  • What changes when we truly believe Jesus is Lord?
Session 4
Challenge:
  • Start each day this week by specifically praying for 5 minutes:
    “Jesus, lead my life today. Help me obey whatever you ask.”
  • At the end of each day, journal:
    • Where did I follow Jesus today?
    • Where did I follow myself?
Leader Prompts To Discuss Challenge:
  • Did anyone experience a moment where obedience felt difficult?
  • What does daily surrender practically look like?
  • How does obedience affect our freedom?
Session 5
Challenge:
  • Read the Bible 15 minutes each day this week.
    • Suggested start: Gospel of John or Gospel of Mark
  • Write down one truth God reveals each day.

  • What did God show you through Scripture this week?
  • Did anything challenge your thinking?
  • What makes it difficult to stay consistent in the Word?
Session 6
Challenge:
  • Use the SOAP method daily to deepen your Bible reading, and share one insight with someone else.

  • How did the SOAP method change how you read Scripture?
  • What application did God show you this week?
  • What difference does application make compared to just reading?
Session 7
Challenge:
  • Increase your prayer time from 5 minutes daily to 10 minutes daily in prayer, including praying through Scripture.
Practice:
  • Talking to God
  • Sitting quietly to listen.

Session 8
Challenge:

Challenge:
  • Ask someone in your church:

Session 10
Challenge:
  • Give financially, serve someone sacrificially, or meet a need without being asked.

Session 11
Challenge:
